We have partnered with a leading high-hazard manufacturing organisation, who are looking to appoint a SHE Advisor at their complex site near Blackpool, Lancashire. The SHE Advisor needs to be someone who has a hands-on approach and is keen on driving behavioural safety.

The successful SHE Advisor will join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming SHE practices across the business and fostering a safety-first culture. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support both global and european sites, providing valuable exposure and a strong platform for career growth. The SHE Advisor will be responsible for:

- Support and guide on various site SHE matters
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
- Establish SHE self-assessment audit programmes
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices
- Engagement with stakeholders and regulatory authorities - HSE, EA, and Emergency services
- Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and measurement of the SHE strategy

The SHE Advisor Candidate will have:

- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum, ideally Diploma or working towards
- Membership of IOSH
- Must have experience within a high-hazard manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in occupational health arrangements and provision
- Previous experience in Industrial hygiene assessments, monitoring and controls
- Experience of environmental permitting requirements
- Knowledge of process safety is desirable
- Drive, personality and resilience are key to this role
