YR4 General TA

TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE 

We are looking for a General Classroom TA  to work in a YR4 class in a very good school in the Poulton area. This is a full time role is to start after the October half term break and is to run for at least 6 weeks and most likely longer. The role is to include breakfast club so is to start at 7.30am to 3.30pm.

Responsibilities:
• To support  pupils in the absence of the regular classroom TA
• Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies and procedures
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Provide support to pupils in the classroom including working in small groups 
• Qualified TA Status or a teaching qualification
• Proven experience in teaching assistant roles in a primary or secondary school setting
• Good classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a new classroom setting
• A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a DBS check through ourselves
