At Vida Education, we specialise in education recruitment, providing schools and colleges across the North West with skilled staff, including teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants, and support staff. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our busy and expanding team. Taking over a ‘warm desk’, you will manage and develop an already successful area, contributing to the growth and success of the business.

In this fast-paced, 360° role, you’ll source, interview, and place candidates, while building strong relationships with schools and candidates. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment focused on delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities for the Recruitment Consultant:

  • Drive new business through calls, emails, and client visits, showcasing our services to schools
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring excellent service
  • Proactively source, contact, interview, and register candidates, ensuring compliance with our standards
  • Advertise and fill positions quickly and effectively across a range of roles
  • Maintain strong communication channels to ensure satisfaction and success

What We’re Looking for in a Recruitment Consultant:

  • A Passion for Education Recruitment: We want an individual driven to make a real difference in the education sector by placing talented candidates into schools and colleges.
  • Proven Sales Ability: As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll need to demonstrate strong sales skills—driving new business and successfully filling roles for our clients.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates is essential, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are key.
  • Self-Motivation and Confidence: You’ll need to be proactive and comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of your desk and making decisions that lead to success.
  • Organisational Skills: You must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A Minimum of 12 Months’ Recruitment Experience: Ideally, you’ll have experience within recruitment, especially in education, though we’re open to transferable skills from other sectors.
