Company details and job overview:

Kenton Black Finance are recruiting on behalf of a company who have over 700 sites spread across 10 countries and have been operating for more than 30 years. They are now recruiting for a permanent and full-time Accounts Assistant who would support both the Poulton-le-Fylde site, and the Colwyn Bay site. You will be required to visit each site twice a month, but the rest of the month you can work from home. Your travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Your new job as the Accounts Assistant:

Process site level supplier invoices with high degree of accuracy and reconcile supplier statements.
Independently complete bank reconciliations and other GL account reconciliations.
Allocate customer payments and perform credit control duties
Complete compliance returns and filings e.g. PAYE
Assist finance and operations leadership with varied admin tasks when required
Updating the cash flow on a daily basis
Supplier payments and sending remittances
Import of Sales and Cost of Sales invoices into Sage

Experience and skills required to apply:

- Have a minimum of two years experience within a relevant finance role
- Be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Have effective time management skills
- Have a can-do attitude and be able to communicate effectively
- Organised
- Flexible
