Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the recruitment needs of a prestigious organisation on the Wirral, who are keen to appoint a commercial, Finance Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis.

Supporting the Head of Finance and the wider business, this is a pivotal position within the finance function.

The successful new appointment will have a proven background in reviewing management accounts and spend, providing a detailed forecast of costs v budget for the senior leadership team.

You will be a proven, qualified accountant or finalist (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), seeking a role with a level of autonomy and responsibility.

Collaborating across the organisation, you will drill down on the numbers and get a deep understanding of the business, before delivering financial guidance to support strategic decision making to drive business performance.

You will be an asset to the business ensuring financial processes and controls in place are robust and take a lead on continuous improvement.

Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is key, along with a proven background in business partnering.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Partner with operational teams to understand key drivers, challenges, and potential improvements in financial performance.
  • Manage / lead projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, continuous improvement.
  • Lead variance analysis to ensure budgets and forecasts are met, identifying any risks or deviations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence financial outcomes and achieve business targets.
  • Present financial results and insights to the senior management team and other stakeholders.
  • Support the wider business in recommending / implementing change

The ideal applicant, will be:

  • Available for permanent work on the Wirral
  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), who is seeking to join a company who will invest and support your career development.
  • Possess strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Capable of working well under pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong leadership qualities and familiar with stakeholder management, business partnering
  • Knowledge of MS Excel
