New Vacancy: Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an organisation on the Wirral with an urgent, temporary year end requirement.

Commencing work immediately and running to the end of April, you will be required to support the finance department with year-end close and statutory reporting.

An adaptable and conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail is required to reconcile the 2024 year end accounts and ensure accurate financial information is recorded for audit.

Depending on your progress, there is a good chance this role will eventually go permanent in April.

Experience is required as you will provide much needed support of the business's annual performance, detailing income, expenses, fixed assets and liabilities.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Reconcile and prepare year-end financial statements for audit
  • Prepare Fixed Asset Register
  • Assist with year-end close, ad hoc projects and analysis

The ideal applicant, will be:

  • Available to commence work immediately
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Capable of supporting year end accounts
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong excel skills
  • Be considered for a permanent position
