Reed are currently working with an accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for a professional who is ready to take on more responsibility develop previous experience gained in a practice background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts to Trial Balance
- Assist with Self Assessment Tax Returns
- Assist with the preparation of Management Accounts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in practice (required)
- Working towards AAT qualification (desired)
- Good understanding of QuickBooks and Xero bookkeeping
- Reasonable basic tax knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
