Job Summary:We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our esteemed client in the food supplement market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the claims matrix and ensuring the integrity of our QA systems. This role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Claims Matrix Management:
- Develop, maintain, and update the claims matrix for all food supplement products.
- Ensure all product claims are substantiated with scientific evidence and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing and regulatory teams to review and approve product claims.
- Quality Assurance Systems:
- Implement and monitor QA systems to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and facilities.
- Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for QA processes.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the food supplement industry.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements for safety, efficacy, and labelling.
- Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor staff on QA best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food supplement or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for food supplements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with claims matrix management.
- Have a detailed knowledge of food safety and quality standards at global and local regulation level such as cGMP (MHRA), FDA, ISO9001:2015, FSSC22000, BRC, HACCP.
- Proven experience within QC/laboratory, preferably within pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry.
- Experience and understanding in stability testing protocols and data interpretation
- Certification in Quality Assurance or related field.
