Quality Assurance LeaderLocation: Wirral Type: Permanent (days) onsite Russell Taylor Group is working with one of the UKs leading technology manufacturing companies. This is a fantastic position for join company who are constantly looking to innovate; the role will involve working closely with the Head of Operations (HOO) overseeing all quality aspects & acting as the go to' person for quality related enquiries. The role will see rapid progression, through the development of the QA teams and QMS. The Role:• Lead/mentor a small QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products working alongside the HOO who will provide management support. • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (internal). (ISO 9001 QMS).• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.• Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance best practices.• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.• Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.The Person:• Heavily experienced in a quality role within a manufacturing setting • The ideal Candidate will have deputised, lead, trained/ mentored teams previously • Experienced in working cross- functionally with production (and similar) teams, offering support/ guidance on best practice & ensuring conformance to QMS• The ideal Candidate will have additional qualifications in lean practices (six sigma etc)• The ideal Candidate will have additional qualifications in quality management (lead auditor ((ISO)) etc) • Good report writing skillsImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
