Do you have experiences as a Facilities Manager? Are you a strong leader with the ability to lead and motivate a highly experienced team of staff? I am excited to be able to recruit for my client who is looking for a manger who can come in and oversee the facilities team whilst still managing properties, making sure that the buildings and their services meet the needs of people that work in them.

As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for services including cleaning, catering, waste, access control, accommodation management, moves, security, grounds maintenance and parking, making sure that the surrounding area is always suitable to be working in!

Main Duties:

  • Ensuring all properties are fit for purpose for all users of the buildings and grounds, in terms of cleanliness, health and safety, fire and other associated risks.
  • Ensuring all necessary risk assessments are completed and the necessary checks are in place to meet audit requirements.
  • Installing and maintaining of fire safety and firefighting equipment.
  • To be the client-side link to contracting staff, contribute to specifications, monitoring and review of all major contracts and services and undertake appropriate administrative processes.
  • Set and monitor individual and team performance standards and ensure that clear team and individual goals are in place and communicated.
  • Monitoring of budgets and keeping stock records of all equipment and tools.
