K.A.G. Recruitment have been instructed to support our client a leading food manufacturing company who are looking for a NPI Food Technologist to join their existing team based in Bromborough.

Job Title: NPI Food Technologist

Location: Bromborough

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours - Flexible start and finish times

Purpose of the Role:

You will work as part of the NPD team to deliver concept to launch product development that both meets the customer requirements and is in line with business KPI’s as well meeting the key dates set

Duties:

  • Modification and development of products in line with customer requirements using the development process and carrying out tasks in the correct order
  • Reviewing and assessing the data gained from trials and analysis and escalating for guidance from the Senior NPI Technologist
  • Supporting in customer benchmarking and quality panels
  • Writing/supporting on specifications (internal and external) and customer required technical documents to meet customer deadlines
  • Ensure accurate records are available for accessing and viewing by relevant personnel
  • Attend and support product launches
  • General cleaning and hygiene maintenance of the NPD kitchen area.
  • Managing stock rotation and ingredients for trials.

Key Skills/Requirements:

You will be a confident communicator who possesses excellent planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work efficiently and to agreed timescales. You will be a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable communicating with people at all levels. You will be computer literate & proficient with standard Microsoft packages.
