Area Sales Manager - Rapidly expanding company, brilliant reputation
We are recruiting on behalf of an outstanding client with ambitious growth plans and a supportive, growth-oriented culture. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, driven individual who holds themselves to high standards, as the company offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule—balance is key! This role will have you on the road 2 to 3 days per week, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
About the role
- Title: Area Sales Manager (North UK and Scotland)
- Role: Full time, permanent
- Location: The office is based on the Wirral, however you can be based anywhere in the North-West.
- Travel: You'll be out on the road 2-3 days per week, and home/office based for other days (covering North UK and Scotland).
- Salary: up to £50K per annum plus bonus, company car, 25 days holiday, medical cash plan, pension.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of potential opportunities.
- Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects, focusing on strategic markets and leads.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing clients, seeking additional opportunities within these accounts.
- Build and expand a professional network within the industry to generate leads and stay informed on market trends.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that maximise revenue and market share, aligning with our client’s goals.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover new opportunities, assess competitors, and refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports, summarising activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our client’s products and services.
- Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets.
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in operating Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
