Responsibilities for our Nursery Practitioner:

  • Work as part of a team to maintain a positive, safe and engaging environment whilst providing the highest level of care for all children
  • Support delivery of the curriculum, ensuring all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development
  • Support children's learning and development both indoors and outdoors with opportunities to explore, be active and be critical thinkers
  • Build excellent relationships with children, parents/carers and the staff team
  • Be an effective key person, maintaining accurate and effective observations
  • Promote nursery values and follow policies & procedures


Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Dedicated and enthusiastic with a genuine passion to work with children
  • The ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and relevant experience within an Early Years setting
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • A minimum level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification
