Conveyancer

My client has an opening for an experienced Conveyancer to join their well-established, bustling traditional practice located on the Wirral.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in handling a range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity for both freehold and leasehold properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold matters.

  • Provide clients with clear, practical, and timely advice on all aspects of residential property transactions.

  • Draft and review contracts, leases, and other property-related documentation.

  • Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions.

  • Handle exchanges and completions, ensuring all legal requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.

  • Keep clients informed and updated on progress, responding promptly to queries.

  • Maintain high standards of client care, ensuring a professional and responsive service.

Essential Elements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5 years PQE in residential property law.

  • Strong experience managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.

  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation, including leasehold law and property finance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a varied caseload.

  • A proactive, client-focused approach to your work.

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent, Office-based

Salary: DOE circa 40-45k +
