Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Complaints Investigation Officer in Wirral. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• To develop and operate the department's complaints procedures to ensure that outcomes of complaints form a basis for performance measurement and service development.
• To be responsible for processing, monitoring and investigating as appropriate all complaints registered under the department's complaints procedures
• To be responsible as required for dealing with political and other enquiries and referrals on behalf of the director of social services.
• To work with advocates to develop and extend the range of advocacy for adult client groups, to ensure robust arrangements are in place

The candidate:

• Degree or equivalent experience is essential
• Experience handling complaints in the public sector is essential
• Experience handling complaints within adult social care is desirable
