The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Reliability Engineer, to work for a well-established global food manufacturing business based at their Wirral site due to expansion. Working as part of a team, your role will be focused on plant reliability and maintenance improvement projects.
This role would suit a multi skilled maintenance engineer with a passion for asset care and plant performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assess current reliability levels and carry out root cause analysis investigations.
- Highlight reliability 'repeat offenders' and propose solutions.
- Carry out condition-based monitoring activities.
- Act as a deputy to the Team Leader.
- Share engineering expertise with the teams and mentor & develop engineering apprentices.
- Ensure site assets are always maintained to agreed standards and promote safe working at all times.
Candidate Expectation
- Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical with multi skilling experience).
- From a Food / FMCG background
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS.
- Able to demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance engineering.
- Ideally experienced in proactive maintenance ideologies such as TPM.
