Your new companyHays Education are working with a secondary school in the Wirral, who are looking for a passionate Learning Assistant to join their team. This role starts as soon as possible and will be a permanent role for the right person.Your new roleThis role will involve the following:

  • Supporting the class teachers to deliver curriculum
  • Promoting the development of children
  • Develop an understanding of the specific needs of children
  • Promote inclusion within the class
  • Support with 1:1 and group interventions

What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you must have a full DBS on the update service/documents to apply for one as well as:

  • 2 years of experience working with children/within a school (references needed)
  • Ability to support with the curriculum
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to lead group interventions outside the classroom
