General Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1 - Birkenhead

Prospero are looking to recruit a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work with KS1 class in Birkenhead. The strongest applicant will ideally have 2+ years classroom experience and be confident in supporting students with their maths and english work.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Birkenhead
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - Long Term
• Start date - 11th November 2024
• Contract type - Long-term Temporary
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £95 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
• Previous experience working with young people.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
