This is a great opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor seeking a challenging role in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The role involves leading a team in the Accounting & Finance department and requires strong leadership and financial skills.

Description

  • Supervise, train, and support the Purchase Ledger team to ensure efficient processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Resolve complex queries related to supplier accounts and payment processes.
  • Ensure timely payment of suppliers by monitoring and chasing aged invoices.
  • Process payments for wages, PAYE, pensions, and other manual payments when necessary.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance and activities to management.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Team Leader should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships
  • Proficiency in financial software
