Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager, Wirral £30,000 - £40,000 + benefits package (working 37.5 hours, flexi time, office based)

A local SME are looking to recruit an experienced finance assistant/administrator to take the next step in their career. You would be responsible for the entire finance function reporting directly to the MD, if you have a full 360 finance background and are looking for the next step in your career where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop a team around you this role is for you!

Duties

  • All aspect of Sales and Purchase Ledger

  • Credit Control, producing debtor reports

  • Managing the payroll process

  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations

  • Maintain auditable set of financial accounts

  • Prepare and submit company VAT returns

  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders

Skills

  • Proficiency in financial accounting and planning

  • Strong organisation skills

  • Experience in financial services industry

  • Ability to control costs and manage accounts payable

  • Skilled in financial management techniques

  • Excellent IT skills using XERO and MS Office
