Finance Business Partner

Reports to Head of Operational Finance

Purpose of Role

To lead all aspects of accounting for the operations team, ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly information is produced both timely and accurately. To provide full Business Partnering to all operational management, helping to protect and create value for the Business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all operational financial results
  • Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions
  • Continuously challenging performance and recommending corrective actions
  • Provide strong and rigorous financial leadership for all operational teams
  • Proactively manage risks, opportunities and budgeting accuracy
  • Ensuring the processes and systems within the finance team enable to face today and tomorrow's challenges
  • Assist in running the Planning and Budgeting process
  • Support and develop the financial integration of the business wide S&OP process

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of success
  • Experience within a manufacturing organisation and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein
  • Experience of multi-site operational footprint
  • Strong leadership ability and proven experience of building competencies in a finance team
  • Experience in senior financial management roles, working closely with and ability to influence senior executives
  • Good understanding of IT systems
  • Good understanding of supply chain
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
  • Open, collaborative style and the ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
