Finance Manager | Wirral | £57,000 - £62,000 + Bonus

Resourcery Group are working with a long established business based on the Wirral that are looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to the team. Overseeing the existing team consisting of Purchase Ledger & Credit Control, you will be expected to add significant value to the ongoing improvements across the month end process.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director, you will have a broad range of duties including;

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Enhance current cash flow models – develop new reporting tools aimed at adding commercial value within the business
  • Identify and implement efficiencies across existing team as well as a broader look across Ops and Commercial teams
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Actively work to improve all financial controls and procedures across the business
  • Oversee the production of finance statements at year end whilst also being the main POC for external auditors
  • Provide overview analysis on existing and new projects, focussing on return on investment

Candidate profile;

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Prior staff management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exposure to an FMCG/product based industry preferred
  • Ability to operate in site based, hands on senior role
