FP&A Accountant | Wirral | £45,000 - £50,000

Resourcery Group are delighted to be exclusively working with a high growth, acquisitive business on the Wirral, helping them with their search for an ambitious Qualified/Finalist level Accountant wanting to step into a more commercial, FP&A focussed role.

Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, you will have a broad set of responsibilities as you help establish a high quality commercial finance & reporting function.

Main duties will include;

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management to support decision-making
  • Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function
  • Collaborating with business partners to understand their financial needs
  • Performing variance analysis and identifying key drivers of financial performance
  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis
  • Participating in budget meetings and providing support for budget owners
  • Communicating findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Candidate profile;

  • Previous financial modelling and forecasting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced excel usage – ideally further experience using reporting tools i.e Power BI
  • Part Qualified / Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
