Our client are a Merseyside based renewable energy specialist operating across the UK. They deliver a wide range of energy efficient services including solar PV, heat pumps, internal and external insulation, electric heating, and decarbonisation.

They are now recruiting for a Bid Manager to join their business.

Key responsibilities to include:

  • Oversee the management of the SQ and Tender process to ensure client deadlines are met.
  • Develop and establish strategies and unique selling propositions to secure individual bids, using creative thinking and a deep understanding of client requirements.
  • Collaborate proactively with the business and supply chain to gather necessary information for crafting outstanding SQ and tender responses.
  • Conduct research and write responses tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
  • Organize and manage launch and mid-bid review meetings.
  • Demonstrate commercial insight and work closely with estimators.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants throughout the process.
  • Attend bidder conferences and dialogue sessions as needed.
  • Review bids thoroughly before submission.
  • Handle all post-tender clarifications in accordance with client timelines.
  • Prepare, manage, attend, and lead or support site visits to meet tender requirements and client expectations.
  • Work with the Business Development Director and Operations/Commercial teams to identify and brief the interview team on opportunities and submissions.
  • Prepare presentations and attend or lead them as required.
