The Company

My client is one of the worlds leading FMCG manufacturers within their sector who have been established over 150 years. Supplying their products into the FMCG industries the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the UK market; they need to recruit an additional Maintenance Engineer.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer or if Mechanical Bias have a strong Electrical background
  • Experience of an Automated Production Environment
  • Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background with a strong multi-skilled pedigree and should be able to work on their own initiative with experience of PPM systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. On a typical shift you will be working with fast moving PLC controlled machinery such as plastic moulding machinery, conveyors, extruders, packaging machinery, motors, drives. The company offer a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
