Rates: 18.55 PAYE Umbrella
Location: Wirral, UK
Job Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week

One of our social housing clients are currently looking for 2 x Roofers Mate to join our busy and high-performing Responsive Repairs Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment, ensuring repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standards.

MUST HAVE SOCIAL HOUSING / ROOFING EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

Assist roofers with daily property repairs, including working at heights (scaffolds and ladders).
Carry out general roofing tasks, including the re-grouting of wall and floor tiles, re-application of silicone sealer, and anti-condensation treatments.
Apply stain block and perform redecoration works as needed.
Carry out core drilling of walls and installation of ventilation plates and cavity air vents.
Provide general maintenance tasks such as window glass cleaning, lubrication of window mechanisms, and gutter/ drain repairs.
Conduct inspections and maintain electrical extraction fans, ensuring safe operation.
General labouring duties including clearance of debris, waste removal, and ground works.
Assist with the installation of loft insulation and the relocation of customer belongings.
Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks in support of team and business operations.

About You:

You bring a positive and enthusiastic approach with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
You are self-motivated, conscientious, and can work independently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work, while collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
Previous roofing experience with the necessary certifications to perform tasks safely and efficiently.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in roofing
CSCS Card
Asbestos Awareness
Full driving license

Training & Equipment:

Successful candidates will receive training and be provided with a tablet device to manage daily work dispatch.
