Our client is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join their team in Birkenhead on a temp to perm contract. You will play a crucial role in the production process, working with precision to assemble components that meet high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skilled assembly work and/or fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing excellent results.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: £14-16 per hour, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet the required standards before leaving the production area.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance overall productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in skilled assembly work and/or fabrication.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to assembly and fabrication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
