Position: Will Writer

Salary: £24K+
Experience in Wills is essential, and Will writing is preferable
My client is seeking an individual with experience in Will writing (ideally two years or more) who can manage a busy caseload effectively. This role is perfect for a legal assistant aiming to transition into a fee-earning position, or a recent graduate looking to gain experience in handling client instructions and drafting.
They are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Will writing and estate planning
- Ability to manage a busy caseload
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients
- High level of attention to detail
Main Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial client consultations via video calls to take instructions on legal documents, including Wills
- Maintaining ongoing communication with clients through email and telephone
- Identifying client needs and providing tailored advice on wills and estate planning
- Drafting simple and complex Wills using a case management system
- Accurately maintaining client records and correspondence on our systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
