Head of Conveyancing – Wirral – Up to £70,000 – Hybrid (3 Days WFH) Are you an experienced conveyancing leader ready to take the reins of a high-performing team?My client, a well-established legal firm based on the Wirral, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Conveyancing to lead their busy Property Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned residential conveyancer or property solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The Role:This is a key leadership position with responsibility for supervising and developing the firm’s conveyancing department, which covers a broad range of matters including sale & purchase, remortgage, transfer of equity, and equity release. You’ll be setting the professional standard, overseeing performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting the team with training, supervision, and case management expertise.As part of the senior team, you’ll also help shape strategy, support business development, and ensure outstanding client service across the board. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise fee earners in line with Lexcel, CQS, and SRA standards
  • Deliver structured legal training and maintain best practice across the department
  • Oversee compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters including AML
  • Drive improvements in client service, case intake and operational efficiency
  • Handle complex or sensitive property transactions as required
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with introducers and partners
