Due to incredible business growth we are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Outbound Logistics Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Logistics with excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards for the customer.

As our new Outbound Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the outbound logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of goods to customers. This

role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and optimizing logistics processes to meet company goals and customer satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the outbound logistics team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to customers.
  • Monitor and manage packaging inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse, production, sales, and customer service departments to ensure all orders are shipped completed on time (OSCOT).
  • Implement and maintain packing specifications and procedures.
  • Optimize logistics/packing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare and analyse logistics reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle internal queries and resolve any issues related to outbound logistics and unit

Previous Experiences

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Packaging and shipping logistics processes and industry best practices
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing logistics demands and work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CMILT)
  • FLT, Reach and Tier & HLOP.
  • Experience with ERP NAV operating systems.
