As our new Outbound Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the outbound logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of goods to customers. This
role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and optimizing logistics processes to meet company goals and customer satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the outbound logistics team.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to customers.
- Monitor and manage packaging inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, production, sales, and customer service departments to ensure all orders are shipped completed on time (OSCOT).
- Implement and maintain packing specifications and procedures.
- Optimize logistics/packing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prepare and analyse logistics reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle internal queries and resolve any issues related to outbound logistics and unit
Previous Experiences
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Packaging and shipping logistics processes and industry best practices
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistics-related issues efficiently.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with various departments and handling customer inquiries.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing logistics demands and work in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (CMILT)
- FLT, Reach and Tier & HLOP.
- Experience with ERP NAV operating systems.
