SRG are recruiting for a QA Operations lead to join a pharmaceutical contract manufacturing specialist based in Cheshire. Well established and experts in producing liquids, creams, gels, oils, & powders for the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, veterinary and nutraceutical markets, they are seeking a QA Operations Lead to support them for a 12-month contact.

The role

As the QA operations Lead, you lead the QA operations team and deputise for the Head of Quality, to:

  • Drive quality improvement and ensure operational quality & regulatory compliance
  • Manage the QA Operations Team & liaise with to QP facilitate the right first-time manufacture, testing, reporting and release of finished products.
  • Manage the quality approval of materials, bulk products and components for use in operations
  • Review of Batch documentation to assist QP release & release of non-medical products.
  • Produce quality documentation to support operations and control existing & new product specifications, bills of materials & certificates etc.
  • Along with the Head of quality, ensure inspection readiness, perform internal audits and lead QMS items, inc. deviations, change controls etc.

Requirements:

  • A degree or higher qualification on a relevant scientific field.
  • Recent experience in a similar quality focused leadership / oversight position within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and relevant quality standards.
