Mechanical Motor Rewind Technician

£39,000 - £42,000 (OTE £55,000) + Bonus + Progression + Overtime + Mon-Fri + Company Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Technician or Engineer with a background in motor rewinding looking for a permanent, local role offering stability and the opportunity to boost your earnings through overtime to earn up to £55,000?

Established over 20 years ago, this company has seen continual success and growth since its conception. They supply pumps, motors, and gearboxes to many local businesses as well as the police force and NHS, and provide all related servicing to said systems.

In this role, you will be stripping down pumps, motors, gearboxes and other rotating equipment to their basic components and reassembling them. This role will combine all mechanical aspects of motor rewinding where you will be removing and reinstalling the motor components (e.g., stator, rotor, and bearings).

You would also be running routine maintenance and repair services on these systems and running electrical tests on them. This is a primarily workshop-based role, with occasional local travel to client sites, and plenty of opportunity for overtime to boost your earnings.

This role would suit a Mechanical Rewinder or similar with a background working on pumps and motors, looking for a stable role with the opportunity to boost your earnings with overtime.

The Role:

* Working with pumps, motors and gearboxes, stripping them down and repairing them.

* Workshop based with occasional site visits required.

* Unlimited Overtime (£55,000 plus)

* Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00PM)

The Person:

* Mechanical Engineer or Technician or similar.

* Experience mechanical aspects of motor rewinding where you will be removing and reinstalling the motor components

* Pump / motor systems background.

* UK Driving licence
