Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an enthusiastic Music Teacher seeking a long-term role? Are you available for an immediate start?

Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking a Music Teacher for a long-term sickness cover. This position is to start ASAP and is required on a full-time basis, initially until October half-term teaching across KS3 and KS4. Pay for this position, depending on experience, will be up to £223.62 per day.

The successful Music Teacher will be joining a school whose vision is to be one of the best schools in the country, renowned for its academic and teaching excellence and outstanding student support.

At our client secondary school, the Music department strongly believes in the importance of a high-quality Music education for all students, regardless of their background or starting point. They aim to provide a knowledge-rich curriculum at KS3 that is sequenced, to allow students to master the key musical elements and listening skills, before combining them with practical musicianship skills.

To be considered for this Music Teacher position based on the Wirral the essentials are:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure

This position is subject to safer recruitment checks including suitable references, DBS and overseas police check if applicable
