I am recruiting a school administrator on before of one of an SEN school on the Wirral. It is a vibrant, forward-thinking school dedicated to providing the highest standard of education to our students. We are looking for a highly organized and experienced School Administrator with a strong background in using ARBOR to join our administration team and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our school.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced School Administrator who is proficient in using ARBOR to help manage school data, streamline administrative processes, and support our leadership team. You will play a key role in managing school records, attendance, student data, and various other administrative tasks to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and update student data on ARBOR, including admissions, attendance, and academic records.

Provide support to staff in using ARBOR for student tracking, reporting, and assessment data.

Handle the preparation and maintenance of student reports, timetables, and attendance records.

Assist in the management of pupil information, including processing changes in personal details, absences, and safeguarding records.

Support with the creation of internal reports and data analysis using ARBOR's reporting tools.

Assist in the preparation of communications to parents and carers regarding attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.

Maintain school databases, ensuring all information is up to date and in compliance with GDPR guidelines.

Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, as required.
Skills and Experience:

Proven experience working in a school administrative role, with a focus on using ARBOR or similar school management systems.

Strong understanding of how to manage and process school data on ARBOR.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all administrative tasks.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, and parents.

Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
Desirable:

Experience in generating and interpreting reports within ARBOR.

Familiarity with school compliance and safeguarding requirements.

A working knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR).
