Prospero Teaching are looking for 1:1 Tutors across Wirral!
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide bespoke educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.
We are currently looking for 1:1 Tutors who are able to offer core subject support to young people who are currently not accessing mainstream education.
Position details:
- Location - Various locations across Wirral
- Position - Tutor
- Subject - Core Subjects / Functional skills / life skills / EAL
- Start date - September 2024
- Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
- Contract type - Temporary
- Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Pay - £25.00-£30.00p/h
Experience, training and qualifications:
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
