I'm seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to manage and process payroll for over 1,500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK statutory legislation and company policies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified payroll professional looking to take on a dynamic and important role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer monthly salaries, benefits, and changes in accordance with company policy and HMRC legislation.
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, from data collation to preparation of BACS payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculations of payments to statutory bodies and third-party providers.
  • Prepare financial postings for UK reporting, and assist with internal and statutory audits.
  • Keep updated with UK pay and benefits legislation, ensuring compliance across all processes.
  • Handle year-end tax procedures, including P11d and PSA returns, and manage updates to external systems like pensions, private health cover, and car benefits.

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent data extraction, interpretation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
