We are looking for a 'Teacher - Home Education (SEN)' in Wirral, CH41 2AB.

Working full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.£39.71/per hour (Via Umbrella).Initial 3 month contract with a chance of extension from there.

About the role:Wirral Home and Continuing Education Service are looking for a number of well-qualified teachers to teach pupils (primarily Maths and English) in their homes and at their base in Birkenhead. Our pupils have a range of SEMH needs and are often highly anxious and would love the consistency of dedicated teachers who visit them regularly. Pupils in our service range from Year 5 through to Year 11, and there will be an expectation of GCSE teaching for some staff. Staff would be expected to plan their own lessons, using curriculum frameworks given. Every lesson really counts for our pupils, who have often been out of school for months.

Duties: • Delivering high quality lessons to pupils including those with SEND and adapting lessons to the learning needs of individual pupils or small groups of pupils.• Liaising with the pupil’s main school.• Prompt reporting of any concerns or disclosures of Safeguarding issues to the Head of Service and the pupil’s school.• Direct reporting of any of the above.
