We are currently working with a Wirral-based Primary School to find a Key Stage 1 specialist primary teacher to take on a Year 2 class teaching job. This role is full time and permanent, starting in January 2025.Your new roleAs a Year 2 class primary teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will also work closely with school SLT and other colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across the key stage. You will have high expectations of behaviour and achievement, and foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in securing this Year 2 class teaching job you will need:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience of working in a primary setting at least within the last 2 years that can be referenced
  • Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum including delivering Year 2 SATs would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards professional development
