Your new companyWe are seeking a full-time Year 6 Teacher for a warm and inclusive primary school in the Bebington area of the Wirral. The post is for the remainder of 2024/25 academic year starting in March 2025. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching key stage 2 classes, including ideally upper KS2 classes, with ECTs who have taught in Year 5 or 6, and completed part of their induction, also considered.The school is a welcoming, family-orientated community that prides itself on the hard-working and respectful attitude of its pupils. It has a dedicated staff who consistently strive to provide a quality education for the children in their classes.

Your new roleAs a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. The school are looking to observe teachers for this role ASAP.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • Experience of teaching key stage 2 classes, including ideally upper KS2 classes
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
