An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible. The school have an excellent track record of working with university graduates with a passion for pursuing a career in the education sector.
As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be tasked with providing support to students who are falling behind targeted grades for a variety reasons. These students may have additional needs, or simply struggle to grasp elements of the Mathematics curriculum. You will work closely with these students to motivate them and help to increase attainment levels. You will work with excelling students and act as a role model to them.
The school was graded outstanding by Ofsted in 2022, and have an excellent reputation in the area. It has excellent learning facilities that allow for varied lessons that keep students enthused. There is a large car park for staff and public transport links make it easy to get to from Wirral or Liverpool.
The school are looking for someone to start as soon as possible in order to have plenty of time to bed in to their way of working – it will run for the full academic year initially with potential teacher training opportunities available from 2025.
