Zen Educate are currently partnered with an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school in Birkenhead (CH62), who are looking for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their fabulous team, supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The role is set to start in November 2024.

This is a full-time position, hours 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is £13.59 - 14.54

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children, in either a personal or professional setting
  • Experience or knowledge of Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD etc.
  • Possess an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Good communication

The role:

  • Report to the SENCO and liaise with parents to update on pupil progress
  • Create tailored interventions to support pupils with SEN
  • Formulate positive working relationships with pupils and other educators within the school
  • Foster a love of learning in ALL children
  • Utilise resources both inside and outside the classroom to support children's learning
