Residential ConveyancerWest Kirbyc. £45,000 + Excellent BenefitsOverview:A well-established law firm, with a strong presence in Merseyside and Wirral, is seeking a talented and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with over 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing who is ready to take on a varied caseload, including sales and purchases, mortgages and remortgages, transfers of equity, and first registrations. The role offers both full-time and part-time flexibility, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to clients in a supportive, team-oriented environment.Role and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will be confident in managing both Freehold and Leasehold Residential Conveyancing matters, ensuring smooth progress from initial instruction through to post-completion. Key duties include:
  • Taking instructions from clients and managing expectations throughout the transaction process
  • Preparing and drafting documents, including contracts, letters, and completion statements
  • Reviewing mortgage offers, leases, and searches, providing timely advice to clients
  • Undertaking due diligence investigations, ensuring compliance with AML and source of funds/wealth requirements
  • Overseeing the full transaction process, ensuring completion deadlines are met
  • Managing time effectively, accurately recording time spent on matters, and meeting financial and time recording targets
  • Attending networking events, contributing to business development initiatives, and assisting with marketing efforts, such as writing blogs or articles
  • Participating in team development and training activities
