Hays Education Wirral are working with a 'GOOD' primary school in Wirral LA to recruit an experienced Lower Key Stage 2 specialist primary teacher to take on a Year 4 class teaching job from January 2025.
This primary class teaching job is full time, Monday - Friday over term time, for the remainder of the academic year.

Your new role
Hays Education Wirral and the head teacher of this Wirral-based primary school are looking for an experienced lower Key Stage 2 specialist primary teacher to take on whole class teaching responsibilities in a Year 4 class.
Working with the Key Stage 2 lead and other KS2 staff, you will confidently plan, prepare and deliver sessions appropriate for the ability range within the class. You will carry out regular assessment of pupils' work to inform future planning, and be able to work as part of the wider school teaching team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Year 4 primary teaching job on the Wirral you must:

  • Have recent experience of teaching primary-aged pupils (and be able to provide references)
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status or be an Early Career Teacher
  • Display sound knowledge of English and Maths
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with staff, pupils, families and the wider community
