Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Wallasey / Birkenhead area.

Due to continued growth, they are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Validation Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers external training in Validation. Key Responsibilities of the Validation Officer:

  • Develop and compile validation protocols.
  • Conduct equipment qualification and process validation activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of validation activities.
  • Support the Quality Manager as needed.
  • Train production staff in in-process control and provide coaching on Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
  • Promote the Quality Management System (QMS) by coaching staff on the correct use of SOPs, documentation, and working practices.
  • Support staff during investigations using problem-solving techniques.
  • Assist in the deployment and implementation of new documentation.
  • Support on-site customer and external audits by notified bodies.
  • Perform internal and supplier audits in alignment with the audit plan.
  • Collect data for preparing quality metrics.
  • Provide QA support across departments to ensure compliance with the QMS, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing changes through the appropriate use of change controls, communication, and training.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemistry or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a validation role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The Validation officer will have a good knowledge of Quality Control processes and procedures

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
