Rates: 22.98 PAYE Umbrella

Job Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week
A Social Housing Client of ours have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Roofer to join their busy, high-performing Responsive Repairs Team. This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
MUST HAVE SOCIAL HOUSING AND ROOFING EXPERIENCE
About the Role: We are looking for a roofer with a positive, enthusiastic personality and a strong focus on customer service. You will bring attention to detail and contribute positively to your role and team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in roofing, with the necessary skills and certifications to perform work safely and efficiently.
Essential Requirements:
- PASMA and TETRA certifications
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Relevant NVQ in the Roofing trade
- Proven experience in roofing, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to meet deadlines while working in a conscientious, tidy, and self-motivated manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs to both pitched and flat roofs
- Perform pointing and flaunching to chimney stacks
- Clean and realign guttering
- Renewal of felt, batten, and tiles
- Renewal/repairs to fascia and gutters
- Loft insulation works
- Installation of lead work to roofs and valleys
- Undertake basic multi-skilling tasks such as pointing, vent fitting, basic ground work, and unblocking gully's/ACO drains
Additional Information:
- The successful candidate will be provided with a tablet device for work dispatch.
- You will undertake a range of roofing repairs and be expected to assist with basic multi-skilling tasks as part of your daily duties.
