Academics is currently looking to recruit a cover supervisor to work within our client secondary schools across Wallasey and the surrounding areas on a daily supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need it to be!
As a cover supervisor you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.
Main Classroom Supervisor responsibilities:
- Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Adhering to school policies and procedures
What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor with Academics:
- Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage the classroom effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
