Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking an English Teacher for a one term position starting in January 2025. Our client school are seeking an English Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.
The successful English Teacher will be joining an English department whose aim is to nurture lifelong readers, who leave school eager to lose themselves in the adventures of the myriad characters awaiting for them. At Key Stage 4, built on the solid foundations undertaken in KS3, students study both English Language and English Literature following the Eduqas syllabus.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this English Teacher position based on the Wirral the essentials are:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
