Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking a Maths Teacher for a long-term position starting on Monday 6th January. This post will continue until July 2025 covering. Our client school are seeking a Maths Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4 and are willing to consider part-time (0.6 FTE Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) or full-time Maths Teachers.
The successful Maths Teacher will be joining a department who aim to develop students' confidence and competence in using Mathematical skills and techniques. They also seek to develop students' logical thinking as they apply mathematical facts and communicate their reasoning. Our client school wants students to recognise the importance of mathematics in their own lives and in society.
Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this Maths Teacher position based in Wirral the essentials are:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
