Tradewind are recruiting for a Teacher of Design & Technology for a position due to start immediately at one of our Wirral client schools.
Our Wirral client school is looking for a Teacher of Design & Technology for a position due to start ASAP to continue until at least Easter. This position will see the successful candidate teach Design and Technology and Food Technology across KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time position, and pay is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be joining a successful community school which provides a fully comprehensive education for about 1100 student aged from 11 to 19 years old and which achieves excellent outcomes for all of their learners. Our client school has a mixed Sixth Form which offers a wide range of academic and vocational provision and is carefully matched to the needs and aspirations of all students. Progression figures into higher and further education and into successful employment are amongst the highest in the North West.
To be considered for this Teacher of Design & Technology Teacher position based on the Wirral the essentials are:
- Hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Design & Technology following the UK National Curriculum
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
- Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
