Hays Education are supporting a large secondary school in the Wirral, who are community focused and have a strong teaching and support team to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish. This is a maternity cover position, starting after Easter, and will involve teaching Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students. Additionally, the role will include some cover supervisor responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Undertake cover supervisor duties as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational experience of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
